Michail, get a driver mate and recover soon.
You can’t be parking there mate.

He must be INCREDIBLY unlucky to have been involved in TWO write off car accidents within a couple of years
Clearly, it's unlikely he was completely blameless in either/this accident. My point is that we don't have the full picture. I've seen a very competent driver roll a Mercedes-Benz SLK while going around a roundabout at about 10mph. But the aftermath looked like a horrendous accident and case of dangerous driving.

Agreed. This is possibly a 60mph road as it appears to be straight and rural. Hit a tree at even half that speed and the car is going to be a terrible mess. In a vehicle with the power of a Lamborghini or Ferrari it’d be easy enough to lose control with a momentary lapse in concentration. Or maybe an animal ran in front of him. Or there was a huge pothole to avoid. Or something else happened ahead that caused him to swerve. Nobody knows yet.

Horrible to hear, hope he recovers.

It’s hard to have too much sympathy for people that drive like that. Just fortunate no other car was involved or he could have killed someone.
He has four kids... most won't find it hard having sympathy for him and other people involved.

The writing off part not so much. Cars like his Ferrari are designed to crumple, to disperse the energy from impact and the engines are designed to drop. Any semi-serious crash is likely to cause serious damage and write a car off.

That plus it’s likely the pictures doing the rounds are after he’s been cut out mean that the state of the car is not a reliable indicator as to how bad the accident actually is. Obviously it’s bad enough to be serious but not to judge anything like speed/rate of impact etc.

I’m not saying in this instance he was/wasn’t driving well or badly, only that we simply can’t tell anything by the state of the car now.

Don’t sound very competent to me rolling a car at 10 mph, two questions to you sir, how could you be so sure it was 10mph and how did you know they were competent, you’ll probably say you were in the car right?

Took someone's front garden out whilst they were eating their Xmas dinner. Someone could easily have been killed, it's on a pedestrian crossing near Wandsworth Common.

You shouldn't be driving that fast around there to have an accident.

He was dressed as Father Christmas, , there are videos if you can bothered to google them.

Of course no idea about the circumstances of the last one but has had a couple of serious crashes in high speed cars at Xmas or near.
Was dressed as a snowman last time apparently , anyway I do wonder why cars driven on public roads need 500+ BHP when BTC drivers can make do with a mere 350 on a race track

Just buy yourself a nice little Toyota Aygo or Hyundai I10 next time, Michail - your driving skills are simply not up to handling Lamborghinis or Ferraris.
I suspect he may not get a Hyundai i10 after reading how shit they are from a certain poster on here…

And it would be a bit cramped if he wanted to take his wife and kids out to Thorpe Park…

That's exactly my point! It was an accident that no-one saw coming. I'll do you the courtesy of replying to your questions but no, I wasn't in the car.

How do I know it was 'about' (if we want to be correct)? Because I was in the car following (from a safe distance) and I was travelling around the same speed as him.

How do I know they were competent? Because I'd know the guy for some time, driven with him and knew also from other people that he wasn't 'that kind of driver'. Believe me, I seen – and driven with some absolute twats. He wasn't one.

Ugh. Yeah – OK, you know more than me about the situation. Well done, have a biscuit!

Yeah ok Competant driver he is, i bet you’re one too right?

Imagine being a competent driver going round a roundabout at 10 mph with someone behind you (at a safe distance) ending up on your roof 🤦

The longer it takes for reassuring news, the easier it is to fear he may have serious lower limb injuries.

Fingers crossed he's back out playing soon.

I'm not sure what you think I'd gain by making this shit up? Nor do I really care, quite frankly. I've answered your questions, you clearly don't believe (maybe you were there too, alongside the poster I was originally replying to) and know better than me.

Am I a competent driver? I'm ok – I've got three points for speeding in my licence, had a few crashes in the past, but none for a while. Quite what any of that has got to do with it, who knows?

Since we're adding in pointless, irrelevant shit (and going way off topic), maybe – like the situation I described – you've never seen a live controlled car-to-car impact at 20mph and witnessed the destruction it has on both vehicles? Maybe you think that's probably not that bad either. Or seen simulations of the difference it makes crashing at 20mph and 30mph on pedestrians. Maybe a load of the things I've seen and been told about in my 25-year career in the automotive industry never actually happened. Yeah, that'll be it and some goons on the interweb know WAY more than me about it.
