And long may it continue. What a glorious mess Radcliffe is making of Man Utd
Don't agree. Did a fantastic job for Newcastle as well. Its beginning to look like it was Brighton making him look good.
Unlikely it will continue for long. Pleased that a couple of individual errors onfield kept them down the table yesterday but they will be back pushing top 6 again very soon. Getting rid of the PE teacher Mr. Cashworth is a good decision. And long may it continue.
In what position though? It would be very unfair to demote David Weir who, IMO, has done an even better job than Ashworth.Would take him back, don’t really get the animosity did a great job for us
I think that’s a big statement. Based on what?In what position though? It would be very unfair to demote David Weir who, IMO, has done an even better job than Ashworth.
Ashworth had a very good reputation prior to joining us through his work with WBA and England. It was seen as a real coup for us to get him at the time, not the other way around.Similar to Potter, his reputation was severely enhanced by his role at our club.
The step up is not easy.
Two minds are better than one they could share the role.In what position though? It would be very unfair to demote David Weir who, IMO, has done an even better job than Ashworth.
Based on how we've developed since Ashworth left. And no, I don't have a clue what the job entails, and I have no solid evidence to back up my opinion. But we certainly haven't got worse since his departure have we? So I would argue that as is so often the case with senior appointments at the Albion these days Weir is an upgrade on his predecessor.I think that’s a big statement. Based on what?
True, but His reputation was massively enhanced by his association with us.Ashworth had a very good reputation prior to joining us through his work with WBA and England. It was seen as a real coup for us to get him at the time, not the other way around
Are you new to football?Would take him back, don’t really get the animosity did a great job for us
And do you think Weir would be happy with that? Two minds are better than one they could share the role.
Also don’t think we can judge anyone who ‘fails’ at United. That club is toxic and rotten from the top down
Oversaw them sign a lot of well established international players for massive fees, left them on the precipice of a PSR disaster. Smashing job.Don't agree. Did a fantastic job for Newcastle as well.
