Anyone else carrying this on for the next couple of weeks?

Day 1: 86.5kg (13st 9lb) - target 83.5kg (13st 2lb)
Day 8: 84.5kg (13st 4lb) - loss 2.0kg
Day 15: 84.1kg (13st 3lb) - loss 2.4kg
Day 22: 83.75kg (13st 3lb) - loss 2.75kg
Day 29: 82.25kg (12st 13lb) - loss 4.25kg
Day 36: 81.9kg (12st 13lb) - loss 4.6kg

I did a 5k run earlier this week, for the first time since back in August when I was at least 5kg heavier. It felt so much easier carrying less weight.

hi...and yes, I am.

My motive this month is to , at the very least, consolidate the weight I was on 1st December until 31st December.

Xmas is a special 'gluttony' time for me, so I need to get below my 01/12 weight before then. Am 84.2 kgs this morning at 9.00am. I think that is another 0.7kg down, so all going well. Everyday I stay on a steady course before the 25th is a victory for me.

......

Yes

1st November - 13st 7 (moved to 13st 5 due to different scales)
8th November - 13st 2 - 3lbs lost
15th November- 13st 0 - 5lb lost in total
22nd November 12st 13 - 6lbs down
29th November 12st 13 - 6lbs down
1st December ( 1 month) - 12st 11 - 8 lbs

6th December 12st 10 - 9 lbs in total now!

Will keep my normal Friday weigh in going. May lose some focus over the next few weeks though.

Yes, I will despite running into a neurological flare up the past week which has me laid up again for a few days so no exercise or much activities going on to burn calories.

Weighed in this morning at 103.4 so only 0.2 over my November 30th weight which has come somewhat as a relief.

Ideally would to lose 2 kilos by Christmas which is a bit of a tough task but if I can get below 102.0 by 23rd December, I’ll be well pleased.

I‘ll carry on posting on here through December as it will motivate me to keep going with the weight loss until @Couldn't Be Hyypia starts his January thread.

I saw this up on the first page and wondered if people were stiill going. I've fallen off a bit so, while I won't be posting on this thread in December, I'm still going to try and be a bit more disciplined!
I am continuing too. Though the last week has been difficult as my wife is away and I tend to drink a bit more. But saying that I’m down another 0.6kg this week. A total loss since November 1st of 5.1kg.

Had a business trip to Jakarta this week - makes life hard to lose weight. Two plus days on a plane with no exercise and continually offered food and drink, then 3 nights out at restaurants with booze. So I expected big game but only 0.5kg so will have to work hard to get rid of that this week

Lowest weight today so far since my sudden weight gain in 2023.

A real milestone and so so chuffed.

103.2 kg

1.2 kilos more to go until my Christmas target.

Edit - that was early this morning, this is even better

May need to toughen up the Christmas target …

So my 5 week diet that i was doing anyway when this thread appeared ended today

start 86.4 goal 82kg in 5 weeks
wk 1 85.4kg
wk 2 84.7kg
wk 3 84.4kg
wk 4 84kg
wk 5 82.1 kg total 4.3 kg

Happy with that and not expecting to be so close to my goal with a week to go . Was clearly holding water weight and cut my calories down and upped my steps to 13k a day . Thats the lowest weight ive been in my adult life and not lost any strength in the gym. weirdly in fact ive hit some PR's . Full 6 pack at 54 .

Next stage is to try to slowly bulk to 85 kg in 9 weeks . This will be harder than the diet as have xmas and a 2 week holiday coming up . Train hard , put on some muscle then ill be back on here to do a 5 week cut to get down to 81kg for a trip to Aussie in April.

Big tips that helped me lose 30kg in 3 years. weight train . Track what you eat . Walk. Dont diet for longer than 12 weeks . your body adapts , metabolism slows and you plateau. diet / maintenance / diet / maintenace till youve got down to your desired weight.

Seeing as I’m trying to continue my good habits (into next week anyway, then they’ll probably be discarded)

Day 1: 86.5kg (13st 9lb) - target 83.5kg (13st 2lb)
Day 8: 84.5kg (13st 4lb) - loss 2.0kg
Day 15: 84.1kg (13st 3lb) - loss 2.4kg
Day 22: 83.75kg (13st 3lb) - loss 2.75kg
Day 29: 82.25kg (12st 13lb) - loss 4.25kg
Day 36: 81.9kg (12st 13lb) - loss 4.6kg
Day 43: 81.25kg (12st 11b) - loss 5.25kg (12lb)

I’m pretty pleased with how this has been going

Still going here.

Down to 83.1kgs meaning a loss of 1.1 kgs this week. Very happy with that. 6.8kgs since we started.

The fun starts on Monday when I shall be back in Shoreham for 3 weeks. I shall have to face the demons of Tesco Express, Tesco,s superstore, fish 'n chip shops, Chinese and Indian takeaway shops and pizza places.......and quite a few local pubs.

Or....I could be a nauseatingly boring twat and regale friends and family members with tales of how healthy I am now....   .

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Enjoy it! ….you can then make a tour of the coast road counting the new blocks of apartments 🤔

Just about hanging in there this morning. Down another 0.2kg to 82.9 kgs but that was mainly due to still being in France for half the week.

Back in Shoreham now until the New Year and it is sooooooooooo much harder here. Takeaway places everywhere, pubs everywhere that seem to be open 24/7 and of course many friends and family to catch-up with.

I'm astonished having seen all the temptations before me, how so many of you succeeded before. I know I wouldn't have done as well as you have.:bowdown::bowdown:

I will definitely be signing up to this for January ... might need to be a bit more than 7lbs mind you. Off to Gran Canaria early Feb - so want to be beach body fit for then .... cough.

Now where are those mince pies ...

Happy Christmas to all NSCers 🎄

Ditto. I loved taking part in November and would look forward to a Jan. start.
But with the support on here that we got, I can easily find the motivation from
within.

Put on 1.1kg yesterday and that was despite no beer, only 3 roasties, no Yorkshire pudding or bread pudding, only 4 roses chocs and i still did a 3km walk. Roast beef today so I expect weight going up again!
