Absolutely untrue. Please show me where I have even spoken about the complainants. As to the definition of woke it has gone from meaning being awake to white middle class privilege and being aware of the discrimination that persists for people of colour and those in lower economic circumstances (something I was very happy to identify as) to some grotesque movement that demands obedience to their worldview, a movement which has absolutely no tolerance for questioning of their values. As Tim Minchin so succinctly put it "we progressives have turned into c***s".
Yes women have made complaints and not been listened to, heck I am old enough to have watched the "fly on the wall" doco of Thames Valley Police which caused outrage when the episode of the women alleging rape was aired. However that does not mean we should throw out the idea of innocent until proven guilty and replace it with guilty until proven innocent IE Believe the Victims. I won't believe anyone until the evidence has been through court, which as flawed as it is is our best way to protect the innocent and punish the guilty.
That’s a silly thing to say as bullying and lewd comments are unacceptable in the workplace but not crimes that are likely to go to court.

Now that was actually on topic. Well done.

Decent article written by a women about the hurty words
A woman whose brother is a serial liar! Hurty words is just another way of condemning the victims.

Abusers thrive because they can say, fairly confidently ’nobody will believe you’.

I’ve noticed the pushback from those who have deep sympathy and empathy with Gregg is now taking on the form of ‘don’t judge our Gregg until he has had his day in court’.

What an embarrassing position to take.

I’ve not seen any evidence that any of his victims have gone to the Police.

But, I guess the type of person defending old Gregg is not likely to know, care or understand the difference between criminal law and employment law.

We might well see Gregg in an employment tribunal at some point trying to get some lost earnings back if his employers have not followed their procedures but he is being not being judged on ‘beyond all reasonable doubt’ he is being judged on ‘balance of probabilities’.

If lots of people complain about you at work, you get the boot. If you are lucky enough to have a celebrity job and income, the media will publicise every moment of the process.

“I don’t want to live in a country where hurty words – and not real crimes – can break careers as easily as eggs.”

As long as this attention seeker doesn’t move here, I’m delighted she‘s leaving the U.K.

Brother. Guilty by association in your eyes?

Ah. Boris Johnson’s sister.

Funnily enough I have sat round a pub table with her a few times. A genuinely good laugh. However, her opinions are not to be taken seriously.

It is an interesting idea that because she has been given a column in the paper her opinions should hold more weight than anyone else's.

As has been mentioned, the validity of these allegations will out as a result of some kind of investigation.

It is certainly not looking good for the (alleged) dirty old perv though is it

There were some women that didn’t believe women should get the vote.

Some women are worse to women than men, especially those who are paid to have an ‘opinion’.
And there’s people like Johnson who wait to see if there is an angle emerging that fits their public image. When they feel there is enough support for a controversial opinion, they’ll publish it. Whether they believe it or not.

And I suppose there are women out there that simply don’t see this kind of (alleged) behaviour as a problem.

I can imagine the environments that Johnson has grown up in and been around in her chosen fields are pretty rife with misogyny.

Maybe she is genuinely not bothered by it.

I think her article is ridiculous but there’s always the possibility she genuinely has no problem with being spoken to like that .

For most people, innocent until proven guilty does not mean that we won't believe victims until something's been through court. That's just weird. Such a blinkered view would also have you believing many world tyrants are innocent, since they weren't tried in court.

Look at the way Stanley Johnson treated her mother.
