Seems like just a Tesco thing, can't get it up here in Epsom either but Aldi had loads, maybe Tesco have pissed off another supplier
Do you partake in the local Epsom night time activities up on the downs😏
I worked in Epsom for a while and couldn’t quite believe what the locals were telling me so I went for a peak outrageous behaviour 🐕

Back in Sussex
Out in Worthing on Saturday afternoon, we went into B&M, simply because I've never been in one before.

Imagine my utter DELIGHT to spy tomato puree on sale in there. Not only that, it was "Ready, Steady Cook" branded tomato puree. It must be very, very good tomato puree. Probably crafted with love by Ainsley Harriott himself.

Has Ready, Steady Cook been on TV in the last 25 years or so?

Looks like it was revived for a bit with Rylan hosting, some time after the pandemic. Doesn't look like it's still going. As others have said: check the Best Before dates on your puree

In case anybody missed it, excellent Panorama last night which kind of explains why Bozza's tomato puree has disappeared from Tesco.

tl;dw?

UK supermarkets buying their own brand tommyP from Italian company Petti who use cheap Chinese tomatoes picked by Uyghr slave labour. They've been caught out and presumably rushed to remove it from their shelves before the bad publicity hits.
