Oh thank you. I think we’re of a similar vintage (and I know you love The Clash) so I think you’ll enjoy it but would love to hear your thoughts about it in due course 👍
You’re welcome

Yes I’m sure we have plenty in common, born the same year, grew up in Brighton, Albion fan and enjoy listening to punk music.

My copy has been delivered and while I have not started it yet, I was pleasantly surprised by how many pages there are. It is a mighty tome and I look forward to reading it.

Huge thanks to Jack Straw and Peteinblack for buying it. I really hope you enjoy it.

It’s currently taking a couple of weeks to be received from Amazon as they’re printing to order and don’t yet have a batch of 50 or so in a warehouse somewhere. Hopefully that will speed up with the more orders they get.

The book has also appeared on Waterstones website today for the first time, which increases the choice of where to buy it from.

Anyway, thanks again and for the kind comments.

Cheers, Stuart.
Your taste in (indie/punk) music is superb - a kindred spirit punk::thumbsup:

Oh brilliant! Glad you’ve received it ok. Any good so far?
Yes, really enjoying it. The topics you cover are really interesting, and you've a 'flair' style of writing and expressing yourself!

Hello again everybody.

I’m just bouncing this thread as I’ve done a big pre-Christmas promotion on various facebook groups today and thought I’d do likewise on here.

I know a number of NSCers have already bought my book and according to their feedback, have really enjoyed it.

It may be of interest to you if you:-

* grew up in Brighton in the 1960s and 70s
* went to Dorothy Stringer in the late 70’s
* worked at Amex from 1980
* think that modern music started in 1977
* love The Albion 😂

There’s loads more contained within.

From Gary Glitter to Billy Joel via Harold Shipman and Bernard Manning - it’s got the lot!

Bozza very kindly put the Amazon links on page 1 and it’s also available at Waterstones.

It’s priced at £4.55 (kindle), £12.99 (paperback) and £16.99 (hardback).

If you do buy it, I’d love to know what you think of it.

Many thanks for reading this and UTA.

Cheers, Stuart.

I enjoyed reading this. For those of us who seek sanctuary in the smallest room, the format of the book is great to dip in and out of. Not sure you’d put that on your testimonials though.
