We're being warned of a potential mega snowstorm near Orchard Park (Buffalo) this weekend. Lake effect snow will bring 1 - 4+ feet of snow somewhere near the stadium. I say somewhere as they don't know where these thin bands of lake effect snow will hit until much closer to them hitting.

So we expect at least 1 foot over the weekend and potentially much more. I've made it to the other Bills snow games but a nasty head cold has me thinking I'll skip Sunday night against the 49ers...

As for today, I hope the Bears can make a game of it.
Expect the Packers to beat the Dolphins, Tua can't play in the cold weather.

I love watching a Bills snow game and have great admiration for anyone who braves the elements to go to those games. I had a long chat on a Manhattan tourist bus with a lady from Buffalo who was telling me about the layers they wear, taking the cardboard to sit on, etc.

I'd love to think Da Bears are going to do something other than get hopelessly slaughtered against a far more tooled and able Detroit Lions outfit - ignoring the local rivalries (which i cant get involved in, i live in Sussex ffs  ) i actually really like the Lions, their progress over the last few years, and their team. I wish em well, apart from today. And the return game, in which we'll doubtless get torched as well.
Fairly miserable season thus far, probably wont improve, and i expect to be 4-13 come the end of the season in all honesty.
Still, some flickers from Caleb, and the pathway to improvement if Flus gets booted

Shocking finish by the Bears. Coach has to call timeout when it's clear there isn't enough time for a play and to stop the clock, should have called it by 6 seconds and at least tried the fieldgoal
Agreed. Can't be putting it on the rookie QB in that situation. Knows they can't clock the ball on 3rd down so HAS to take the timeout with the chance of tying it on a field goal!

The sort of piss poor game management I'd expect from a rookie HC. Borderline fireable screw-up given the pressure already on Eberflus.

Surely Eberflus is finished after thatā€¦

Step forward Vrabel?

Da Bears have absolutely emptied the pot of heartbreaking losses of late - the hail mary nonsense vs Washington, the missed field goal vs Green Bay, the amazing comeback and then limp defeat in OT vs Minnesota, and then yesterday's excellent comeback fading out to absolute brainwrongery. Thats four of the last six games ffs! Got to fire Eberflus into the sun, he's dreadful and a massive curse.

(wont even mention losing to the Pats who are absolutely terrible, at least that wasnt a heartbreaker)

Indeed. I've moaned on here about how incompetent Cleveland are, but really it's just standard incompetence. Even we'd find it hard to match the Bears at the moment (although I still do have nightmares about the Jets onside kick against us a few seasons ago).

Snow forecast for the Bills game. Lake effect snow is so bizarre, a little change in the wind direction can be the difference between 4 feet of snow and 8 inches of snow. Orchard park to downtown Buffalo is about a 15 minute drive, Buffalo gets no snow, Orchard Park where the game is gets at least 8 inches. This forecast will change constantly between now and Sunday. The challenges of being a Bills fan.

As much as I love a snow game, Im hoping there isnt much tbh - I kept Josh Allen as my fantasy starter this week, and left Tua on the bench.... šŸ˜

Eberflus fired

Chiefs first team to clinch playoff spot, for the 10th straigth season.

Another close and "ugly" win vs the Raiders, they've won their last 3 games for a combined 7 points. And two of those games were against bottom 5 teams (LV, CAR).

Also, 9 out of their 11 wins were one-possession games and five of those games were decided in last seconds and could have easily gone the other way too. Not really convincing but wins are really all that matters and I'm sure they'll turn it up again in postseason.

Just seen the hit on Lawrence. Awful. Hope heā€™s gonna be okay.

Watching the Steelers/Bengals at the moment, a real offensive shootout.

Massive game for the Bucs last night after limping over the Panthers in OT. Feels great to have an OT game go our way after two previous losses via them, this season. Huge impact on our playoff chances, with a favourable schedule of games coming up - although struggling against the Panthers doesn't feel me with much hope :lolol:
