Makes it wors.. Engrained in club culture imho. On the plus side at least it saves the country from Barber doing the podcast rounds this week having spent £200m to watch that shite
Post-match @Dick Knights Mumm and I were mulling the comfort of seeing "old Albion" still alive and well.

Spend £200m in a transfer window? Yep, that's us.

Shithouse our way to a point against the worst club in the league? Yes, also us.

Anyone been 3 or 4 up and paid the price. But if you don’t win you draw -
One of those annoying ones but also not a massive dent in the season. Onwards and upwards eh.

I know he took a bit too much stick after the Wolves thing - but I really haven't seen a lot from him yet. Not sure what he brings. Hopefully it will work out.
For the money we paid Jamestown or whatever the f*** it’s called must of been hacked that day he’s hopeless.

No issue at all with the players etc . We have to accept we are no longer little old Brighton and teams no longer think we should be beating teams like Brighton
Lower teams see as now as one of the bigger fish and raise their game against us
Just enjoy being 2nd and at the worst 5th after this weekend
I have supported this club since 1979 and all I can say is wow wow wow wow and wow at being 2nd

never been more confident of anything in my life. why are we so crap against bottom-of-the-table teams? it’s not even a ‘playing against a low block’ thing, we were awful in the second half. i just can’t comprehend how we can do this with such regularity, whilst being so excellent the rest of the time. i’m not disappointed, christ, we’re in the top four. i’m just more perplexed, than anything else, with the certainty of it all
I don't know but it must be in the minds. We are so ON IT against some of the top teams. But I thought it might be a bit dodgy right from the off last night as we started slow. Before building into the 1st half.

2nd half just messy.

Cant wait to get baleba back who changes that game massively.

What’s it called? Cumbernauld
The next thing for us to do to continue our improvement is to find that ability to just grind out wins. All the very best sides can reel of 5/6/7 wins on the bounce regularly if we want to be consistent in and around the top 6 that’s where we need to see significant progress

see the thing is though we can already to that to a point. held on against newcastle and bournemouth when in reality, had they equalised, it wouldn’t have been undeserved. we just cannot seem to get going against the relegation fodder

Terrific. It is EXACTLY that type of attitude that will hold us back. For me 1981 but I’m living in the present. No one should be happy with that performance last night. A MASSIVE chance missed. Luckily FH clearly wasn’t.

But we still don’t have the ability to reel wins off and I really thought we’d see them off last night as I thought they played very well against Liverpool and we wouldn’t take them so lightly but seems we did 🤣

I think "leggy" is exactly how I'd describe us today which is odd. I wonder if there's a wee bit of sickness about in the squad or whether it's just more psychological and players finding it difficult to change the tempo once they equalised.
You do wonder. I particularly noted Van Hecke who was seriously blowing. I do appreciate he perhaps had to cover more ground when Dunk came on and he was switched to the right. It did also show that O'Riley will need some time to get up to full match fitness.

Going off at a tangent and admittedly on perhaps limited game time, I'm not convinced by Wieffer. Bizarre as it seems he doesn't even run like a decent player. Watch closely and you'll see the curious floppy hands and leaning forward from the hips.

Somehow we can 'challenge the establishment '...but not the other teams 🤦🏼‍♂️😂
