Watching live elite-level football regulary is not a basic human need. We have far greater issues in this country than the fact that taking your kid to a game a few times a season will cost £60-70. The Albion's loss-making charitable arm has community projects that will make a tangible difference to lives, and they probably do use a fair percentage of TV income to fund stuff.Imagine a world where Premier League teams would take 5% of their income from global TV rights and use it to support the local community through making it cheaper for people to watch football, rather than suck every possible pound out of normal people to be able to afford another luxuary car for their backup left back.
