I would retort, but my puns are not a gazpacho on yours. It’s been vine for me old fruit, but maybe the suppliers are playing ketchup.

I love that one of the sources in that article is Tomato news, exactly the sort of publication I'd expect to see on HIGNFYWaitrose at canary wharf didn't have any yesterday (I looked as was unable to get any of this weeks tesco delivery)
However I did get some from a Tesco express near Brick Lane last night. Napolina at 1.50 per tube.
And here is the story (also in mirror and other sites)
Tesco 'supply issues' alert as tomato puree unavailable online
The supermarket said it was unsure when the product would be available againwww.manchestereveningnews.co.uk

I had to go to Asda where they had plenty, guess Tesco are just struggling with their suppliersThe tomato puree shelf, immediately above the passata and tinned tomatoes shelves in my Tesco, has been empty on every visit I've made for weeks.
Even the more expensive Napolina tubes have been nowhere to be seen.
I shall check out alternative grocery vendors.
I hope it hasn't caused any beef with the suppliers. That would be the cherry on the icing on the cake! This is no laughing matter. I’m going to passata time like this
Yep! You’ll find them in the same aisle as the Roses and Quality Street stuff. No shortage. New tubes of it (20% smaller and costing 30% more) will be on the shelves any day soon!
All of them pasta their best.I blame my wife, we currently have 3 open tubes of it in the fridge.
