I hadn't considered that. I'm not sure how much more the South costs but maybe they could match it for those who are displacedIt’s the cheapest seats in the north, and many choose that area for that reason.

South is Zone A (same as north) so would work if it was made clear that the north is full standing and for a reasonI hadn't considered that. I'm not sure how much more the South costs but maybe they could match it for those who are displaced
You are aware that grannies can, and do sing!No it's not a pointless question and your comment about people standing anyway has been made 500 times before whenever this subject gets raised and misses the point. The point is that creating a safe-standing zone would be a chance to reset the North Stand which has never taken-off as a proper home end. Those who want to stand and sing can elect for a season ticket in the standing zone and congregate in one area instead of being spread across the NS interspersed by grannies, grandads and little kids. This would be separate from the NS seated areas where less passionate punters can sit and grumble about Webster.
Blimey. That’s quite a change in stance.
Matches the insides of the new fan zone.Blimey. That’s quite a change in stance.
So essentially making it safe standing for the back of the north stand, where people stand already. Guess that’s a good first step to road test issues. The article may have been taken down for a while to correct a typo. What it said while it was up the first time was that it will be the back rows of the north only, I think it said row R backwards, but not including seats 1-13 in block A, not including some seats in block H and none in block I.

Indeed.Wonder if safe standing changes will be done at the same time as moving away fan changes. Logistical nightmare if they are
So do granddads - badly, in some cases very badly! You are aware that grannies can, and do sing!
The article - when it was up - said that 80% of supporters at the back of the north stand voted for safe standing and if anyone in that area wants to move away from the new safe standing area then there will be a priority window for them to do so in March. I guess that means that anyone who wants to then move to the new safe standing area can do so after that. It is then possible that they will try to enforce no standing in the front of the north maybe?I guess us row Q people may have to sit down then
I think the proposed new away fan section will also be rail seating/standing. And is also due to start in 25/26 so i guess this is why the North Stand plans have been put in place.Wonder if safe standing changes will be done at the same time as moving away fan changes. Not the Brentford safe standing area again
