A lot of pundits, podcasters and pap-peddlers are utterly clueless when it comes to 90% of the teams and players they comment on. I often find myself rolling my eyes listening or reading their waffle.

I'm not fully cognisant of the relative merits of all Premier League squads nor of the backroom set ups. But then I'm not paid to pontificate on them.

Oh cheers…..I tend to listen to it on and off between 10 and 4 whilst working….👀

i tend to turn off at 4 as although i can stand ‘Benty’ ….i find Goldstein almost unbearable, especially with the regularity he utters the words “and tonight we are going to start the show with talking about MU“ …guess what he did tonight 🤦‍♂️


ps still wondering if Adrian Durham has visited Spec Savers yet for believing that Baleba should have been shown red on Saturday rather than a second yellow….he was talkingshite

I never fathom how folk get so upset when someone has a different, not so confident, opinion about their team. I don't know who 'Bent' is, but they are entitled to have their view and it's no problem.

I look forward to the happy and evangelical posting of the next thingy Talksport do on the Albion which says how cute and lovely we are.

I actually really enjoy TalkSport. Simon Jordan is brilliant and on a Saturday morning Max Rushden and Charlie Baker make me LOL every week!

Yes it’s childish but perhaps that’s why I like that show so much.

Same. I like Darren Bent and find Plastic Goldstein unbearable.

the depth in our squad is absolutely ridiculous. We are where we are in the league when we have hard the hardest fixtures and most injuries. Imagine getting paid to offer an opinion on something you know so little about.

The following side did not start on Saturday.
