This petition on the UK Gov and Parliament website calling for another election (ridiculous) has just gone over 2 million signatures. Of course, its never gonna come to anything, but parliament will have to consider it for debate as its got over 100,000 sigs. Anyway here it is

Yes, they may have gone back on a few promises but doesn't every incoming gov't do the same when faced with certain economic realities. I didn't vote for them but give them some time FFS.

The dull part of the south coast
It's the same as the 6m people who signed the Brexit petition a few years back, nothing is going to change, politicians lie to get votes, respect the democratic process and move on.

That being said, I'd much rather people sign a meaningless petition than take to the streets.
I don’t think many would have taken to the streets with ol’Bert dumping his load this weekend. :lolol:

Imagine if the internet was a thing in the first Thatcher term.
Imagine how the internet would break when poll tax petitions went live...

Signed.

Just to try it out basically, if there was any sort of verification or anything of me being a UK citizen... or even a real human.

Nothing of that sort though. I could just register 100k random names on 100k random emails and sign them up if I want. Its as practical as it is stupid.

"You lost, get over it" comes to mind...
Quite. Whatever happened to “The democratic will of the people”? Or doesn’t it count when they lose?
