I think he’s a wonderful player….

As for being shattered I’m afraid for the second week running Fab left the substitutions too late.
Agreed, it’s odd that we as fans can see the need for subs given how we now play, and we have decent players to come on, but FH seems slow to react. I said to my wife at least five mins before Liverpool scored that I thought we needed to freshen it up. I was so convinced that it would cost us that I cashed in my £10 bet on a Brighton win, that would have given me £65, and banked £23.50.

Anyway it was a fantastic display and we have not had the rub of the green this week. No complaints though as we have had it for most of this season.

Ever since Welbeck described him as having velcro boots or whatever (the ball sticks to him) I’ve noticed that aspect of his game. He has an amazing ability to keep the ball at his feet when running into enemy territory. Other parts of his game may still be evolving and improving but that skill he has to retain possession is exceptional. He’s my favourite of the new players. Love Ferdi too.

Yes, I’ve also noticed that it’s not purely about his control but more about his balance and strength when dribbling, he doesn’t get knocked off the ball often and when dribbling forward under physical pressure he always seems to keep his balance - something that it’s quite rare to find

Now he's settled down with us, is it time for a decision about naming him on NSC - should we settle on Rutter, or should it be Georginio? We managed to do this alright with Bruno (everybody knew the mentions of Saltor were just for fun), and the BBC have finally stopped listing Igor Julio as dos Santos de Paulo.
Poll anyone?

(FWIW I'd go for Rutter)

Georginio for me - it’s what he prefers and sounds much more flair!!

Just think it is good that a player takes the shots on which has been missing from our armoury, always put defences under pressure

Edited: I blamed Rutter for the mistake for the second goal - I was corrected and it was Igor. Edited post to avoid shitting up the thread.

Dreadful mistake for the equaliser. 92nd minute, dribbles deep in his own half, loses the ball, they score.

Just inexperience and naivety once again.

Interesting how this barely has had a comment on here and people are still laying into Wieffer, who had another decent half of football.

Rutter cost us two points with that mistake

It was Igor dribbling in the situation you’re describing, not Rutter.
