Well quite but I have to think there is much more to come.I agree but, I don't see anything at all in Weiffer, what am I missing? What does he do well?
I hope so, but what do you think it could be.Well quite but I have to think there is much more to come.
I agree it was a harsh yellow but you always run the risk on a yellow going in for a tackle from distance. Even if you catch the player even a tiny amount. We won so who cares, but 10 men could have cost usNaive for not taking Atwell's incompetence into account?
He did nothing wrong.
I’ll reserve judgement for nowI hope so, but what do you think it could be.
Goals, assists, great tackler, great in the air. Honestly I don't understand why we bought him, how much is he on? More or less the Collen Rooney?
I agree but sadly you do have to legislate these days! That’s harsh. It’s barely a foul, let alone a yellow. You can’t legislate refereeing incompetence.
Is that an official appeal though or just a post match referees “media“ opinion? No, any second yellow can be reviewed but there's a fairly high bar for getting it overturned - one slam dunk is, as you say, mistaken identity.
Here's an example which wasn't overturned on appeal:

I can see the large, but maybe I have missed the other bits.Hes large, athletic, and in a number of early games was crunching into tackles and producing really crisp passes. He's very nervous, taking a long time to adapt to this league and has made some high profile errors.
It's an official appeal. Trossard's recent second yellow, also for kicking the ball away, was also unsuccessfully appealed. Is that an official appeal though or just a post match referees “media“ opinion?

Yeah but that’s Arsenal, we are a two bob club, even less chanceIt's an official appeal. Trossard's recent second yellow, also for kicking the ball away, was also unsuccessfully appealed.
Agree to disagree then. Sorry it was a foul but not a booking. Look at it another way, he was always going to rack up 5 booking at some point. Southampton H not the worst game to miss!I disagree with you. 'Harsh yellow' makes it sound like it was a foul by Baleba, but the yellow was questionable, but in my opinion it wasn't a foul by Baleba. He didn't go in for a tackle from a distance, he stayed on his feet and ran across while his opponent went to ground.
Delighted we won, but I feel we're getting too many bad decisions, and Baleba missing against Southampton could cost us more points.
Flip side of that is conceding too many from central positions.Commentary mentioned that we are yet to concede a goal from a cross this season too.
Time will tell friend, but I'm confident.I can see the large, but maybe I have missed the other bits.
I have seen him get caught so many times and miss passes and get caught out of position. I really do hope he proves me wrong but he would not be on my bench......at home.
My understanding is that although this panel reviews key match in incidents, it’s not part of an appeals process. Meaning if they disagreed with the award of a second yellow, it wouldn’t negate it and the second yellow still stands. It’s all about feeding back following an assessment of decisions made by officials and VAR.No, any second yellow can be reviewed but there's a fairly high bar for getting it overturned - one slam dunk is, as you say, mistaken identity.

It’s NOT an appeals process … a panel reviews decisions made and feeds back. Nothing they decide will impact the original decision. It's an official appeal. Trossard's recent second yellow, also for kicking the ball away, was also unsuccessfully appealed.
