If only we had a colorful Fall like what they do in Americky.
Went straight to the Seestar; wanted a larger aperture. With mosaic mode you can image larger objects too.. Although you’re compromising the data and depth to the image in some cases.Interesting about not having to polar align, I am sure that I read somewhere that you did it but it was easy... maybe it was for the Dwarf 3 which is one of the competitors. Did you look at the Dwarf machines or just go directly for the seestar? I notice that someone local is posting seestar pictures on Brighton skies - not just simpler but a lot less capture time than using a DLR. There's rumours that a s80 will be released as well but i think it will be well out of my budget.
thanks for that ....does the machine autofocus?Went straight to the Seestar; wanted a larger aperture. With mosaic mode you can image larger objects too.. Although you’re compromising the data and depth to the image in some cases.
Thanks I might give it a go. I normally use lightroom 5.7.1 bought awhile back as a one off and then use photoshop elements for slightly creative things. Not sure if i will be overwhelmed by it....Adobe Photography Plan 20 gb plan is down to £62.99 for Black Friday (48% off). If you already have a subscription, you can buy this and redeem it, and it adds a year to your plan. Just bought another year, and fully paid up till April 2027 now (after doing the same last Black Friday).

Just be aware that if you sign up for this subscription service, there is no going back to a standalone Lightroom. You'll be paying forever more. If you are happy with what you have, then don't rush to change. Thanks I might give it a go. I did, reluctantly - but I must say, with the almost half price discounts every year, it's not much. But I use it a lot.
It can be done - but not easily, and you lose bits, maybe.mmmm I might hold fire . What I have works for me but was just wanting to have a look really....
