Possibly, although Gruda hasn't done enough to prove himself yet imo
Gruda hasn’t impressed at all , still yet to see what he has to offer , does not Seem to have that much pace , hasn’t gone passed anyone , crossing not great , doesn’t look like he is going to score many goals

Just had a look and Bmuff seem to have no one away on international duty which is a bit worrying

They are favourites with the bookies
I can’t be arsed to check further, but Kluivert played for the Dutch tonight, as did Zabarnyi for Ukraine. And I watched Unal come on for Turkey against Wales.

No idea who else.

Yer kluivert came out of nowhere for that one. Unal is not really a starter. But 2 is better than none.

Their manager is working wonders there as I really don't see their squad being anywhere near as strong as ours.

Kluivert was named in the Dutch squad for this set of internationals but because they called up 25 players he was one of those not included in the match day squad for their first match against Hungary (you can only have a maximum of 23 in the match day squad).

Because this second game was a dead rubber they made wholesale changes which was good for us as Bart and JPVH got rested and Mats Weiffer got 90 mins of football for the first time in awhile.

Oh it can, thanks for that....
I googled “Brighton results 2023/4 season” and the top answer gives a selection of 3 results but if you click the down arrow “see more” you get every result summarised for previous seasons, with a highlights video, lineups, match stats etc.
We lost 3-0 away to Bournemouth in April 2024 with a starting lineup of
Verbruggen
Offiah,Dunk,Igor,Barco
Pascal, Gilmour
Adingra, Pedro,Buonanotte
O’Mahony
Subs used were Webster,Enciso,Welbeck, Baleba, Veltman
Unused subs were Lallana,Moder, Fati
We 70% possession, 607 passes compared to 250 for Bournemouth but only 1 shot on target compared to their 6 of which 3 resulted in goals of course.

Fab hasn’t had the benefit of a full preseason because of the Euros, injuries ( and we’ve lost the most player days to injury across the whole Premier League) and international breaks which have brought disruption and further injuries.
I believe that the team will only improve further as the season progresses. We won’t be looking for 70% possession and double the number of passes.
We‘ll be looking for intensity in the press and counter press, runners from midfield overloading their back line and lots of shots, hopefully on target.
Looking forward to seeing who’s returning from injury to make the match day squad an exciting prospect.

Pretty sure the answer is yes and yes. They looked on it against City and there's been two weeks since then. Neither suffered long-term serious injuries. I like that team too but I'd have Rutter on the right and Joao Pedro as support striker.

I like it but are Pedro & O'Riley ready to start yet?
Pedro was training yesterday at Lancing (in the club photos), O Riley was called up late for Denmark but was unused sub in their Monday match.

That starting line up looks alien compared to what will start at the weekend. Were they league debuts for Offiah and Mahony?

First starts I think, pretty sure both came on against City a few days before and Offiah had certainly played a few times earlier in the season (whether that was in the PL, I can't recall).
