Are you runnng an ad-blocker, out of interest?Same for me, cuts out my listening to the radio on an app on my phone as soon as I click into a topic. Never done this before today.
Yes and have done for years but only on my PC. Not changed any of it's settings for ages. Are you runnng an ad-blocker, out of interest?
The change is so those who ad-block relentlessly, and haven't white-listed NSC, contribute to the running of the site.Yes and have done for years but only on my PC. Not changed any of it's settings for ages.
But this issue is only happening on my phone which isn't running an ad-blocker! PC seems fine as I can still play You Tube music etc in the background without them stopping while viewing NSC.The change is so those who ad-block relentlessly, and haven't white-listed NSC, contribute to the running of the site.
If you have ad banners on NSC pages on your phone then that probably shouldn't happen. But this issue is only happening on my phone which isn't running an ad-blocker! PC seems fine as I can still play You Tube music etc in the background without them stopping while viewing NSC.
I've never used an ad blocker and still have the advert noise and audio symbol appear on the tab if that helps with your conversationIf you have ad banners on NSC pages on your phone then that probably shouldn't happen.
What I don't know is how the Adblock-detector tech works. It's clearly not perfect because NSC Patrons were getting hit, something I've been able to test and confirm.
So if the Adblock-detector says "Are there any ad banners being rendered?" and, if not, does its thing then that would explain why Patrons were getting hit. I can fix that easily.
If people aren't ad-blocking, and do have ad banners on their page then it shouldn't happen. But I can take that up with the vendor to investigate.
This has stopped now. When I click reply (for this example) or a reaction, I’m getting a 1 second blast like a jingle.
Have you tried cutting down on the fibre? Failing that, maybe open a window. When I click reply (for this example) or a reaction, I’m getting a 1 second blast like a jingle.
Despite many years of practise, I’ve never achieved a musical fart.Have you tried cutting down on the fibre? Failing that, maybe open a window.
