[Albion] Is it wrong that I want Ferguson to score tomorrow more than I want England to win?

So excited about what a rejuvenated Ferguson could mean for our season. I just think he needs to keep scoring to keep his confidence up. And for that, I'd sacrifice an England win tomorrow. Does this make me a wrong'un!? 😕
Rejuvenated or not Welbeck currently has the shirt, don’t quite get why he didn’t get more time at Liverpool when we went 2-1 down as unlike Welbeck he can create a goal out of nothing. Not sure FH fully trusts him at the moment.

I just can’t get excited about international football outside of a World Cup or Euro’s tournament.

I don’t watch the games in these breaks, they’re just an annoyance that have to be endured until the proper football is back.

Thankfully they’re mercifully brief, but all I care about during these breaks is that Brighton and Hove Albion players don’t pick up any injuries.

I hate Argentina, but I can't lie....when McAllister was 'doing his thing' in the World Cup Final I cheered him/them on

Same today, I have NO interest in England whatsoever (sorry), so would be more than happy to see Fergie score, play well at the detriment of England. Rarely watch their games when on TV, don't get down if England concede or lose.

Club over country all day long for me. Always have been, always will.

Moving on.....

I have been watching England friendlies for 50 years (well, 30; they were not all televised back in the day, so when I saw 'watch', sometimes it was listen to a commentary on radio 2).

I think the Nations League, tin pot though it may be, adds a little spice and meaning to friendlies. So it has to be an improvement.

But I'm sure someone will be along in a minute to tell us they don't really like football all that much, and don't even really know what England is. Is it a country? If what what does that make Great Britain? Or the UK? :lolol: :shootself

You are all aware England are going for PROMOTION this afternoon ?

Of course I'd love to see Ferguson score, as long as England still win. Then the promotion party can begin, and we can all start planning our trip to watch the open top bus parade.

England win. Ferguson plays well, scores and remains injury free.
That’ll do me.
I would like to add “does a Gross turn and leaves Guehi on his arse at some point” to the list, please

I can be quite critical of the National team, but wouldn't want them to openly lose, especially to Ireland. Christ, just like the Scots or Welsh, they'd be insufferable for years to come if they won, especially at Wembley. This is more than likely one of the Nations League games I'd watch with interest.
