about £4 - early/mid 90s.

Whoops....I forgot this is hanging on the wall in the computer room. Think it dates back to late 50s (someone correct me if wrong) as the games were pre floodlights being installed at the Goldstone. Luckily the printed the admission charge on the posters.
Paid the same for the south stand a year later and the other 15p went on a programme.

The old boy on the turnstile on the West Stand used to let me squeeze round the side. So £0 
2 hours of my time but no price.

Intrigued to see the number of bus routes that served the Goldstone. Did they actually stop at the ground and where was the stop? No memory of this at all

No idea, it was in 1968 so in £sd and obviously not a lot.
I assume that the purpose of this thread is that PBOBE wants to celebrate us winning a trophy with a Good Old Days game, where we all turn up in vintage clothing and the price of admission and catering is at yesteryears prices.

No, they all stopped in Sackville Road on the north side of the Old Shoreham Road junction.
Pretty sure that was the same for me - but my older cousin paid. I know that in 1978 it was 50p - because I used to wash my grandad's car in the morning for 50p, which got me into the ground.
1986 or 1987 - £72 in the North.

Last season at the Goldstone as an under 16 so assuming £5 or there abouts?

Season ticket in the West Stand in 1967 was £6. I think it jumped to £11 the following season.
Think I paid the same. I remember being outraged when it went up (to two bob; could have been two bob going up to half a crown but you get the drift). 1969.1/6 - I let you work out how much that is in new money, and when it was.
A Bob, a tanner, and a thrupenny bit.

Got it. That makes more sense. Must’ve taken a few “busy bee” number 7s to get fans away in match days…those little mini buses on the Hove Station route
Floodlights were installed in 1958/9 - 1st season in 2nd Division.
My first game was in 1956 as a 12 year old. Great team! Seem to remember paying 9d (9/240=3.75p) would be about right if adult above is 2 shillings.
