Looking forward to this one - a great away and the Saturday before Christmas at 3pm. Potter might be in charge by then too...

After last season I told myself that I'd NEVER do West Ham away EVER again. Awful stadium for football (the worst in the country IMO), ridiculous OTT security checks, stupidly expensive food/drink, middle of nowhere, a massive pain to get away from (Amex level queuing for the tube). However...........

Hardly ever queued there - quite a long walk round the houses but they have the trains sorted back after

I was referring to the food inside the athletics stadium, not outside, I'll have to give it a go...
I got something to eat outside , I had a footlong hot dog and a pint less then a tenner , I was in upper so the view wasn’t too great and yeah it’s nothing like Upton Park but it is what it is

Once we got to the station it was OK, it took about 30 minutes to get there though, stewards with stop/go boards etc. In terms of elapsed time probably no worse than getting on a train from the Amex but I rate the Amex as bad for that.

My main problem with their corporate bowl is I remember Upton Park, which was a proper, if a bit scary, football ground.

Having been to the London Stadium once, for a sold-out concert, I fully expect that returning to my place out west will take as long as the trip to Brighton.

Does this info really have to be kept top secret until a few hours before they go on sale?
