i think the fact Fab starting him yesterday ahead of Gruda shows he rates him.
When people recover from the injuries hopefully there’ll be less need for him to play on the right and will help avoid us running Mitoma into the ground again like we’ve done in the past

I have seen Gruda a couple of times now , can’t see what he does , can’t beat a man, not a lot of pace , crossing not very good ,
passing not great , defensively not great

He was very good defensively last night I thought. Unfortunately we had to get back in the game. He’s definitely improved that side of his game.

Do you remember a certain Antony Knockhaert when he first arrived? His first few games he was off the pace and barely made any contribution. Watch a few clips of Gruda when he was on it in Germany and you may have an idea why we signed him.

The original post was pretty reasonable, even if you don’t agree with it.
Acting like somebody isn’t allowed to say something negative about a player after a win is just as silly as acting like we can’t say something positive after a bad loss.

Read my post again, better suited to the left wing, needs a run of games and to work on his defensive duties.

Scapegoat = a person who is blamed for the wrongdoings, mistakes, or faults of others
This. And that’s the value he should add to our squad. In my opinion he should never play on the right unless there is physically no one else available. He is in direct competition with Mitoma for the left side. Could be a case of great player but wrong club at this time? Unless Mitoma is expected to move on in the summer.

I just watched the match back and he was nowhere near as bad as being suggested here. He tried to make a lot of runs in the first half, but was for the most part pretty deep and certainly did help Veltman out, was just part of and impacted by the overall malaise in the first half.
Second half he was heavily involved in our renaissance, on the ball a lot, great cross for Mitoma's weak header. And then he was subbed and his replacement didn't do any more than him.
With our strength in depth I think our subs are going to look better than our starters in most games, as they come on against tired legs. Adingra certainly did when he was a sub earlier
