Genuinely the worst I can remember. Someone else mention subconscious bias and I think there's something in that. Ayari getting a yellow for pulling someone back and Foden effectively being asked for his autograph for doing exactly the same thing was incredible. The Adingra one was diabolical. But there were loads. At one point it seemed like he just made whacko random decisions every 30 seconds.

I very rarely criticise referees, win or lose, but he was desperately poor today and it was all one way. Had a dreadful game.

I am the same, very loath to criticise officials because it is a difficult job but txting the son in law during the game I said we were playing 12 men. Long time since I have used that phrase.

And they are surprised when the Wolves manager calls out the unconscious bias? The ref had a shocker when it came to the consistency particularly around holding offences.

The ref was so bad - it’s good we won otherwise it sounds like sour grapes, but he did everything he could to stop us winning. An enormous City bias on every decision. Terrible performance.

My favourite is when the ball didn't go out of play for a throw, our player kept it in quite clearly. A few city players asked for it and he just gave it !! Unbelievably bad refereeing.

Not often you hear booing as loud as it was at a referee after a game by the winning teams fans.
