Nothing to lose, everything to gain.
If we get beat, well, it's City isn't it?
If we beat them, it reinforces our Top 6 credentials.
A draw would be OK, I guess.
Remember seeing us beat them 4-1 at the Goldstone, think Wardy got a couple.

Seen it all before. We'll get the usual patronising little pat on the head from Pep in the build-up, with him raving about how BRILLIANT and AMAZING we are, before his team goes out and gives us an absolute shoeing.

We're far too leaky to keep this lot out, and I can't see us outscoring them.

Sorry.
And if we should, some how, manage to beat them, Pep will be enraged in the post-match interview and all the "BRILLANT" and "AMAZING" comments about out team and manager will be completely forgotten. It'll be rage against his players and how they should be beating #TeamsLikeBrighton.

Apparently, Danny Welbeck has not scored against Man City in 19 appearances against them.

So, in the reverse psychology thing that people seem to think happens, by me mentioning it, he should now score a hat-trick at the very lease.

* - as we go on to lose 8-3.

Of more important news (to me) I only realised yesterday evening that it’s a 5.30 KO ……and last Sunday I committed myself to a party with the grandkids that is around that time …i’ve only missed two league home games during the Amex era………oh what to do 🤦‍♂️

What were the results of the two games you missed, Lamie? This may help us make the decision for you.

He hasn't scored against City in 19 PL games but does have a goal for Man United against them in the FA Cup.

Your grandkids will have lots more birthdays.

We're only playing Manchester City once this season.

Hope this helps.

It’s on tv.
Illness in this household so tickets were put on the exchange yesterday and sold within ten minutes.

I have a little feeling Wlbeck is going to break that City duck tomorrow. In fact I'm sticking my neck out and predicting we'll score twice. Sadly they get more.

What is the 'thing' with Foden? Last season he gave the north loads when he scored, at the time I don't remember him getting abuse beforehand. Came across as a bit of a twat.
