I think they’ll get a sympathetic ref and a lot of luck against us as they’ll surely bounce back this weekend. I don’t think we’ll be spanked, 1-2 seems about right.

I learnt a lot last season about the the tides of a football calendar. It was great winning the Europa group last year but ultimately counted for nothing. Roma staggered through the first few rounds but were there at the business end. They aren't much better this year either.

City do the same. They come good later in the season. Now is a good time to play them with Foden and De Bruyne especially not firing. An alternative view is that they simply aren't all that without Rodri. He does seem to make them tick.
