This was my late mother’s favourite. Me being brought up in the 70s to the back drop of Neil Diamond’s fantastic album tracks is my reason for me displaying an over reactionary hatred when I hear Sweet Caroline being destroyed by yobs at sporting events and on coach trips 🤣

I can't think of anything the old man liked. He mentioned he liked George Formby, but I'm not posting any of that shite.

The 50s passed them both by. The 60s and 70s was just long hair and a screeching racket. Apparently :lolol:

My mum's

Never knew my dad and the photos had all be cut in half when I was old enough to relise.
You don't miss what you didn't have.
Must have been a handsome chap though.

My old man had an encyclopedic knowledge of 60s popular music in particular.........there used to be a radio programme on a Sunday lunchtime hosted by Saville where he'd give clues about songs and listeners tried to name the song/artist. Dad would invariably rattle off the answer instantly. His A/T favourite artist.....
