Me too! Think I shall be doing this more often. I can see though if you leave it too late there might not be space to park at the decent bike racks.

First time I’ve seen final whistle for a while, I liked it. Managed to cycle up Coldean Lane.

Historically I jogged on 90’ to join the big Mill Road queue.

Yep, cycling for me from now on.

Certainly had worse, left home at 1645, Lewes at 1740, police station car park almost empty, walked to station and got on the 1813 train. Left NS on full time whistle and got the 10 minute late Eastbourne train at 2216 walk back to the car in Lewes and home by 2320.

Please to see the disabled ramp was stewarded properly for a change but annoying to see one train leaving no where near full

Enough is enough. The senior board at the club need to be made aware in no small measure that this is just unacceptable.
Perhaps PBOBE should walk down and actually take a look for himself?
Is that fan board thing still going? I can’t think of a bigger fan problem than this.
PBOBE will be enjoying the luxury of the facilities on the directors box and so he should.
It’s shit but we have to deal with it. It’s better than travelling on liz costas coaches to gillingham.

Almost 7 hours to watch an Albion loss. Stalwart!

I Wonder whether the 730pm ko contributed to the difficulty fans had arriving tonight? I know its TV talking but perhaps the club can provide some input and try and get 8pm KO as the norm midweek?

I don't think PBOBE should be getting on the train, but is he aware how bad it is?

If you’ve read the thread then you’ll know getting home is a bigger issue.

8pm games could finish at 10. If something goes wrong or we only get 3 and 4 car trains people could miss the last train.

WTF has Gillingham got to do with this? Look at me the super fan.
He’s the CEO so he f***ing well should care.
The ‘it’s shit but deal with it attitude’ would mean no Amex.

I wasn’t stuck in that tonight, I drove, but friends were and I have been before. It’s unacceptable. ‘Suck it up’ is a pathetic response.

Yes he is but he won’t give a shit until it reduces ticket sales significantly. Which it isn’t.
Because football fans want to support the team.

My journey home was an annoying queue-fest but I still wouldn’t have missed us in the last 16 of a cup competition against Liverpool. Astonishing some would miss it because they have to queue for a bit.

When you put it that way midweek night games are not the best, at least we don't get so many nowadays
But when we are in Europe next season....

Blimey.

No need to attack @Clive Walker as if he's just tried to pick your pocket

First time with a bike, after final whistle I walked past the colossal queue for trains. Noticeable that many folk furtively skipped possibly 1000’s, then queue jumped just before the barriers start.

Surprised that no one says anything!
Yes I gave up on the trains because this shitty behaviour was so ubiquitous - too aggravating. They need to take the barriers back further

It’s not about “queue for a bit” in my view, more missing part of the game and/or not being able to get home even because evening matches are so predictably shambolic. After 13 years at the Amex, astonishing is a word best reserved for the associated inertia IMO.
