Doubt he was considered for the United job this time around, they've pretty quickly gone for Amorin. & it sounds as though he might have been one of the interviewed candidates for the England job but they chose Tuchel. Hard to accept a job if you're not being offered them.

He just finished his Chelsea contract period so has had 18 months of paid couch work. He's not up to England or Man U standards.

A lower PL or top EFL team is where he's likely to end up imo.

He is very much in danger of entering Curbishley territory and becoming an irrelevance purely through not accepting another job.

Outstanding arrogance in a way to hold off thinking you will be offered the Manchester United or England job because you took Brighton to ninth in the Premier League (and your replacement went and led the same group of players to sixth and an FA Cup semi final)
