I did the same then.

Mornings are fine, you’re still burning yesterdays calories.

A R4 prog mentioned 14 hours as significant, after that you start burning fat reserves.
Also it's referred to as a 24 hour fast, but I've realised that with intermittent fasting (ie not eating after 7pm the day before, and not until 11am the day after) it's actually a 40 (FORTY) hour fast.

Brutal.

I've stopped eating breakfast and snacking. Also doing fasted rides on the indoor bike - aiming for one hour sessions four times a week.
Can you (or anyone else) recommend a decent indoor bike that doesn't break the bank? All the more tempting as we move into the winter months.

Hoping to lose a tiny bit more.
Any tips?

Do you have a bicycle already?
I use an Elite trainer indoors but you have to have at least the space for a complete bike.
One of these.
You remove the rear wheel and bolt it up and pedal away and get bored after 10 minutes. But you can join Zwift online or other communities to try and lessen the boredom.

I have located some scales while clearing out the loft so ...
101.6 kg which if my hazy memory of weighing myself while taking the boy to the doctors means I'm 3kg down this month.

Sorry, have you just lost 3kgs in a month without realising it?

Please tell me your secret.

Well decent ones do cost quite a bit unfortunaltely. My Wattbike was £1,900 but you can pay interest free over a couple of years so not too bad.
I normally ride while watching the footy (not the Albion). Yesterday was Chelsea vs Newcastle. Too boring otherwise.

Just a very annoying physiology, whose powers have faded with age.
To illustrate the only time in my life (so far) I've deliberately lost weight I was 16 and a pretty lean 11.5 stone. Having totally lunched my intention to bulk up for start of rugby season I thought I can't get bigger in the next week but I can probably get faster.
The next week I was 11 stone by dint of my strict diet of not having thirds.

If you like pasta and don’t like the idea of all those carbs, there’s a simple trick to fool your body into behaving it’s more like fibre. Great for weight loss and managing diabetes. Basically, cook it, cool it, reheat it later. Simples. Verified by the ‘Trust me I’m a Doctor’ series.

Yep, I'll join you. Between September 22nd and Christmas I always lose weight. It's an annual thing. Off it comes, on it goes.

I have about 12lb to lose still.

Half a stone is a lot to lose in month. November I normally manage 5lb. But I'll give it a go.

Daily weighing isn't always a good thing though as your weight can increase depending on a number of factors like salt content in the blood and how much water you are holding.
I guess the amount of weight to lose will depended on starting size, my nutritionist daughter would say a kilo a week is about right so that would be around 7lb or a bit more.

Agree daily weighing is not best idea (although if it keeps person focussed then do it) but weekly at same time e.g. Monday at 8:00am would be good (unless you are at work by then).

Where possible people should take photos of their scales for proof

We don't need that, we can all be honest (and the photos would be easy to cheat anyway). There's not really any winning, I'm sure everyone wants their fellow Brighton fans to do well and be healthy.

Ideally I think people should weigh themselves when they wake up, when evacuation is com, com, com, when evacuation is complete.

Yeah I think daily weighing is okay as long as long as people are aware of the variables. I was 2 and 1/2 lb heavier on Sunday but I knew it was simply because of salt weight from the previous day. It all came off today.
