And stop editing your posts, I saw what happened with @tedebear the other day, you were bang out of order & it's not the first time you've done it. We're both the same for long posts, I'll edit mine to cut out a bit of waffle or to stop the grammar police, I don't change my entire post & the content to make it look like I'm being picked on. I'm sure I'll get incoming PM's from other members for being 'harsh' on you, which is fine. I do enjoy reading your posts but you are 'cheating' on this board. You edit your posts so much that you make people look like they're being rude to you, it's not fair on them & you should stop doing it.

Thanks, the first few times he did it, I thought I must have been going mad, so glad someone else sees it. The posts where he insulted or patronised seemed to change or be removed, just leaving my response. One moderator had a slight pop at me too which was baffling. Whilst I've posted some drivel over the years, I've never removed or changed something to make it appear different than it was...Just one of those times I have to turn NSC off, and come back another day, NSC is greater than any one poster and it will survive, it always does....

Yesterdays result, another reason I have to walk away, still frustrated with the last 20 mins but we are in 6th so on we go.... :ROFLMAO:

We are Brighton, I arrived at that game with the mindset that given where Wolves were in the table and that we could go 3rd with a win, that we’d quite probably lose. I have followed this team long enough to have seen and now accept it might happen. We got a point more than this mindset expected

Everyone, players included imo thought the game was won when the second went in. Wolves had not panicked all game and deserve an enormous amount of credit for turning the game around.

A cock up with 4 on 1 for 3-1 and 10 seconds later 2-2

Hey ho we move on, gutting but that’s football. Two other games had a later goal
It’s almost a cultural thing with the Albion. A mindset almost. Maybe arrogance, maybe naivety. From a position of strength we don’t push on (leading Forest and Wolves) and when our backs are against the wall we punch above our weight (Spurs). I reckon we’ll sneak past Liverpool in the cup and take at least a point from City at home. But what is the f***ing point when beating Wolves (when you are 2-0 up with 2 mins of normal time) gives you 3 points Versus throwing it away and a gallant performance V City gets you 2 points. The first option is so much simpler and easier. Albion don’t do that.

I think Weiffer will come good. I also appreciate how frustrated he was with THAT pass.

Yesterday was so frustrating. I wish we could kick on and threaten the top 5. That said, we’re in a good place, the team will learn from that and it’s so much better than the 2nd half of last year.

Wait....a few weeks ago it was a high line and we should play deeper. Now we play deeper and that is the problem...color me confused

Well. The nsc 90% told the 10% that the ultra high line and high press was the ONLY way, to trust in FH.

O’Neil had other ideas and for 40 minutes had us pinned back as they controlled everything.

Isn’t about who we play?

Liverpool and Spurs always seem to play end to end football deliberately with risk-reward (apart from the brief Mourinho/Conte spell), giving the Albion a chance.

Whilst ManC, and the usual low block suspects, know how to get results against Potter/RDZ/FH teams. Frustrate, break our momentum with cheating, hang on in.

Possibly but Forest weren’t playing a low block when we were 2-1 up and Wolves certainly weren’t when they had 1 defender back on 90+ minutes.

We are braver v the ‘bigger’ sides but sometimes complacent/arrogant or scared V the ‘lesser’ sides imo. This was during Potter and RDZ times too. As Fab said we need to be ruthless.

Imho ManC always take the piss out of us. Two rare exceptions in all the years …. with a man advantage and the Enciso goal game. Understandable given their budget and cheating. Villa usually too.

Wolves I think are a midtable squad, getting over the shock of selling Kilman and their best players in recent summers.

After today’s results even more depressing, we’d be cemented in third if we’d won

It certainly won't hurt the team to experience what they did yesterday. It isn't nice for us fans but they will deffo learn from that shambolic final 10mins. That was not the resilent and solid team effort that we witnessed at St James' Park last week. They got sloppy, let their guards down at 2-0 and the rest is history.
I don't need to put my hand in a fire to understand that I will get hurt if I do so personally don't think it should be seen as a learning exercise there was a lot of experienced players out there yesterday not the U16s . The players should have enough about them to be able to recognize what's good and what's bad play. I appreciate some may say footballers are not necessarily sharp but this is about basics.

Any reason why Hinshelwood wasn't playing or a sub?

Knew it was going to go wrong the minute “you’re going down with the Palace” rang out. Counting chickens comes to mind.
Yes, along with the "you're shit, ahhhhh" a moment of cockiness usually before the wheels fall off...
The crowd was as cocky and thought the game was over as much as the players. Fans also have their part to play. Maybe this is a lesson to us as well: it's not over until it's over - don't get cocky.

Yep we will.

Because I am not ‘entitled’ - I’ve attended matches since the Goldstone days so appreciate and value every progression we have made and are making as a Club.

I thought the game was already won too by the time I lost the stream on the 87th minute so yep, really angry we let it slip :ffsparr:
Yawn
