Rather than rush for trains after the game, my advice would be stay in the stadium concourse bar for a beer while train queues go down. I’m sure others have already said. No matter which stand you’re in they will usually keep the bar open after the game, but walk round to the north stand and use that concourse for a bit of a busier atmosphere. Or east lower is full of families doing similar. You’re fine leaving your stand and coming back into the north.

I do hope you won't be disappointed. As sure as night follows day, a cracking, battling Albion performance against a top team is followed by a shitty, lacklustre one against relegation certs.

Ground hopping is a Brighton tradition
It all started way back when we hopped to Gillingham, then another hop to Withdean and a final hop to the Amex.
As a lot of the older fans, the Goldstone generation, also did this and its where the Sussex alternative to hip hop, hip op came into fruition.

If you want to get out of the city briefly you would have time on Saturday morning to jump on the 77 bus up to devils dyke. Beautiful views and nice walks along the top of the downs. Departs and returns from.just outside the train station so convenient for various pubs and trains to the ground when you get back. They only run at weekends this time of the year and you can check timetables here: https://www.buses.co.uk/services/BH/77

Or the bat and ball near the level, if you wish to experience quintessential English day time drinking, with tasty bar snacks like Frazzles bacon strips and the classic pickled egg, all the time over looking the level and the Brighton locals trying to control a dog on string, with a 2ltr bottle of cider, a must for any day tripper.

Were sitting next to the away section. We registrate ourself and the day after that (pure coincidence) S1F 450 seats came bookable.

Just on this; a lot of pubs (especially those that get busy on a Saturday night) will have a licensing requirement that requires all under-18s to be off the premises by 9pm.

It's not all pubs but those with a rowdier busier crowd will likely have this to avoid accidentally serving an underage drinker when things get busy.

@Wieffergoat thankfully Brighton is full of wonderful and fairly diverse pubs and if you go somewhere slightly away from the crowds (as in they haven't employed security on the door and you're able to sit at a table) it is very unlikely that any pub will make you leave as long as you're playing by the rules (not buying the U18 alcohol). As @Sussax says, The Lord Nelson will likely be fine, whilst still retaining a slightly footbally feel, or somewhere like The Foundry would also be unlikely to have any issue - there are loads of options!
