Signed for Chelsea on a six-year deal.

Signing took place before the PSR deadline.
Leicester and Chelsea up to their usual cheating. Both horrible clubs

They are quite welcome to him.

Along with other signings for Chelsea from our Club. As a very intelligent Chelsea fan and friend who is a CEO for an eminent Company said to me, and in good humour as well - “Brighton should be thankful to Chelsea, through transfer dealings, that we’ve paid for your Stadium” (and possibly for our Lancing Academy as well?) 👍😂

So don’t get involved with Chelsea fans, trying to turn things around, that our Club exists for their benefit. Furthermore, our Club has integrity, and any relatively minor success we have achieved, unlike Chelsea, has not been financed by an owner who looted Russia’s State funds!

Even though, this player in question has been already signed by Chelsea, doesn’t alter the fact, it’s given me the opportunity to support our Club’s
‘Current and ‘FUTURE’ transfer strategy!

UTA!, Mal 👍😊

He must've known this would happen when signing, no way he wouldn't have had a chat with Maresca about his plans for him. Obviously the safety and security of a long, well paid contract was hugely enticing to the lad. It is what it is. Disappointing, but we're not missing his character on the pitch.

So how much is it that he's earning per minute? Sounds like his six-year deal comfortably trumps the average lottery winner!
Well if he believes money is the means to all ends, he has done very well indeed. Good luck to him and his shallow philosophy.

But in terms of his playing career, it already seems that this is a disastrous move. He can kiss any England caps goodbye. Maresca didn’t even ask for him did he? The Todd just moved for him because we’d booked a medical for him.

He is fast becoming the next Drinkwater. A drink driving charge, loan to Kasımpaşa and career as a property developer to come?

Let’s contrast his career with that of Matt O’Riley who appears to be the player we purchased instead as they have very similar attributes in a few seasons time.

Just went to Chelsea for a fist full of dollars. Would have already been a millionaire if not multimillionaire before going there and if he was on say 50k plus over 4 years had he of signed for us that's still over 10 million less bonuses in salary playing for BHA. Money first, football second and that's sad especially after you reach a certain level and income.

Quite honestly we have got away with one. Leicesters replacement for him is currently lighting up the premier league maybe we should be looking at him instead…. Oh we already own him.
In terms of a replacement, could Leicester also take Moder in January on a permanent?

They were hot for him in the summer. I think we’ll be pragmatic and take whatever lowball offer they throw at us in January instead of letting him leave on a free in June.

Maybe but chelsea are still a much bigger club than ours, he can also live in London where there is a lot more to do for millionaires. And he probably has faith in his ability so I don't begrudge his move.

Hate Chelsea though with their pathetic policy of buying our targets just for the sake of it.

How do you know he lives in London?
