Odd that he wasn't mentioned in that summary given his importance to us and the reports of him being take off on a stretcher.

Maybe this is one we want to keep close to our chest
He was on the bench the next game. Unused sub, but the club Twitter showed pics of him walking out with his team mates in his warm-up tracksuit.

been about 7 weeks O'Reilly

was stated 8 - 12 wasnt it ?

Would like some timescale Pedro. We could do with him back
Moderate sprain (based on fact he played on), so would guess 6-8 weeks total before joining team training again. It’s been 4 so far, hasn’t it?

Had his op week commencing 2nd September so just over 6 weeks so far

International break after the 9th so should 100% be fit when return 23rd

Be nice for him to get some minutes pre break . Efl cup 30th October maybe

Think we’re getting players mixed up. I was talking about Pedro.

Thanks to selfish Leeds we could be going into next Wednesday game with one striker, who hasn't scored for months
The lad will get goals, don't worry about him.

We'll might go in with a forward line of

Gruda Enciso Adingra
------Ferguson

Which to me is a very exciting young attack

Got to be honest, that front four doesn’t inspire confidence in me yet. Out of those, there aren’t that many club goals, and Ferguson is dreadfully out of form at the moment. I realise we aren’t blessed with a lot of choice up front, but that looks just a touch too inexperienced for me to get excited. Could be wrong, and if it does look like that and they have blinders then fair enough, but that looks very green on paper to me.

The BBC are reporting that Hürzeler described Pedro as ‘close’ which is welcome news in the context of the ‘long term injury’ worries in this thread last week. 👍🏻
Fabian on Pedro.... "We have to be a little bit more patient, but I think there will be a comeback soon. I can't say the exact date of the comeback."

Hürzeler said Ferguson’s fitness and attitude is great. They are working on the ‘confidence’ issue with him. Hopefully it’s a case of a couple of goals and he’ll be back to the player he was pre injury issues.
