Japan are the only side that look like scoring, with a big chunk of possession.
Australia under their new management team are looking pretty solid in defence with Harry Souttar winning everything in the air.
I’m nervously waiting for Mitoma to get clattered but he’s skipped past several challenges so far. He nearly gave Japan the lead with a shot heading into the top corner but it was narrowly deflected behind. Fingers crossed he stays healthy.
The Aussie fans around me are delighted with 0-0 at H-T.
I found one little mate in the crowd…….
