I can't understand how a finely tuned athlete can hurt a hamstring kicking the ball.
It appears our defensive training consists of standing near the half way line then turning quickly and full speed sprinting back towards our goal, with a last minute lunge at the conclusion possibly.
I'd say that probably puts strain on your hamstrings if done enough times.

People going on about and blaming the defence and high line need to wake up and look at our ball retention in this game. It's been non existent
it’s not but it wouldn’t matter so much if they weren’t in behind within five seconds every time it was given away.

i take your point, but again it’s the system. same root cause. ball to a player with incoming pressure, idea being they look for and find the spare man. except there is no spare man. and the defence are so high up the opposition are in behind almost immediately after. dreadful.
