His first 10-15 minutes were frightening, but he seemed to settle down after that and was fine. Think he'll be OK (or better!)

Looked nervous, non touch on the edge of the box was embarassing but he settled, a good pass or two later on. He'll come good.

he sat too deep and Dunk used him as an outlet several times which got him cornered . . .

clean sheet, no harm done . . .he's learnt from this and we move on.

Of course we are. He hit a peach of a pass to Adingra which probably summed up his quality but always better to stress the negatives.

Placed a peach of a pass through to Adingra (?) which split the defence. Was absolute top quality and perfectly executed. Impressed.

I’m not writing him off. But it was a poor display and I would challenge anyone to seriously deny that.

Jesus Christ, your expectations are high.

Debuts are never easy, but he was fine. Some signs of quality, for sure. Absolutely crucial tracking back at one point, potentially saving us conceding a goal.

He's an absolute quality player that I can't believe has signed for us... Perhaps your minimum expectations are for a debutante to come on as an sub for half an hour, take on five players and score a screamer into the top corner... but in reality, he's playing a new team, in a new country, in the toughest league in the world... and he did just fine.
