Can any of you dear chaps tell me what the best weather forecaster is ? I rely on accurate weather for my work and, just as importantly, to see where the cricket is heading.

If you engine the phrase 'best weather forecaster' it's all a bit murky with many claiming to be and some said to be by groups they probably pay to advertise in.

For short term forecasts for the cricket the view from my little flat, half a mile west of the ground, is pretty reliable.

Looks like lots of points going Yorkshires way. At least 5 batting and bowling points, maybe 6 plus win points.

Went yesterday. Left after an hour because bloody cold. Who wants to watch cricket in a winter coat. Just a joke because of Hundred are playing 4 day games until end of September. More evidence for ECB to say no interest in championship. Crowds would be well down for 20/20 and Hundred if forced to play this time of year
