I believe if Birmingham win then our game vs them would be on first, whereas if Glos win then our game would be on 2nd.
I believe this is because Birmingham are the top ranked side and Surrey the second ranked side.

Not for me as taking nephew and brother in law too the Ipswich game so will be travelling from lewes to met them I need Sussex on 2nd

Did I hear right on Wed, that all four sides won't be allowed to field any of the current England T20 squad, so we lose Archer but Surrey lose half their team?

Yep. Surrey won’t have Topley, Curran and Jacks (and possibly Smith and Atkinson). The poor things will be reduced to playing their second string international players.

Everything the ECB does is bizarre. Utterly woeful custodians of the game
All scheduling decisions are undertaken by the ECB, after a very long liquid lunch.

Either way its clueless, and to add insult to injury, my daughter gets married in Spain that day, but I was hoping I could at least watch the first first semi final in my local before going to the venue, apparently Sussex are on second!
