I know many on here are guarded about taking the Mickey out of Pilarse fans at such an early stage of the season but I think it’s very necessary.

I think that's the point. I couldn't hate Palace, they are a club with proper fans. The rivalry is a bit of pantomime fun. Chelsea failing to beat them with their billion pound squad was met with a wry smile.
