He started our last league game in Weiffer's absence. No Weiffer and we are only left with Baleba and Milner CM with Ayari as back up. I wish that was better given how much quality we've got in front of them.
Yes but when Weiffer is fit he will be a bench-warmer. As another poster pointed out, there are other options. Gruda, Hinshelwood and Rutter.
Good business by the club

I can't keep up.

What is the "likely out" list now ?

Turns ?
Samuels ?
Peupion ?
Moder ?
Lamptey ?
Igor ? ( Would need an incoming for this ).
I might even add Webster and Adingra (although I hope not!)

If we are done, it’s been a very odd transfer window. Some amazing signings, even if most are already crocked, a mind boggling amount of money spent and yet we still seem to have left ourselves light in CM. And quite a few I expected to leave (Igor, Lamptey, Peupion) seem not to have done.

so, if Billy leaves (12M plus sell-on, one hopes), then it makes sense to keep Moder until Jan., helping the club postpone the decision whether to renew his contract.

Don’t forget, there’s another 2hrs after the 11pm deadline to announce transfers if the deal sheet has been submitted announcing their agreement by 11pm (which allows for documentation to be completed after the deadline) so don’t go to bed yet 😉

As far as off loading our players, we may still complete a transfer away after today, if we are selling them to leagues with a different window - eg Denmark, Netherlands and Portugal remain open until Sept 2. (As does the Saudi Pro League). Turkey‘s window shuts on Sept 13 after the international break. (Then of course South America and Africa have their transfer windows later in our season) .

Also, any gaps in the squad and we can still bring in free transfers at any time before 13 September (deadline for naming squads) although I can’t see that being necessary after this window!

Ayari, Moder, Milner, Hinshelwood, Gruda, Wieffer, O’Riley and Baleba.

For two spots in the team.

That doesn’t feel “light” to me. Yes there’s an injury or two, but it’s a poor manager who couldn’t make a midfield out of those options.
100% and as much as I like Billy if he wants a move then why should Brighton keep a player who holds resentment.
I wish him the best and we move on and thank him for what he has done for the club, I am sure the club feels the same way.

We peaked too early this window !!
Not one time when watching Nordsjälland last season (after we signed Osman) did I think "hmm, this Conrad Harder guy seems great". Only think he got game time at the end of the season IIRC, but they have a million promising kids and he didn't stand out.

Not seen them this season. His stats look good but I don't think there's any reason to go all "Charlton Heston in Planet of the Apes" over possibly missing out on this signing - he wouldn't have been part of the squad this season anyway.

Because of an ‘exclusive‘ tweet by a Forest Fanzine?

I think I’ll wait on that piece of ‘news’.

And stick with Ornstein and Danish sporting website Bold until I hear otherwise:

“David Ornstein from The Athletic writes that Brighton are also fighting for 19-year-old Harder's signature, and that the Premier League club has made an offer of 20 million euros - equivalent to 150 million kroner. This is consistent with the information Bold has received.

Ornstein writes that FC Nordsjælland is expected to accept the bid from Brighton, even though Sporting has also made a bid of the same magnitude.

As Bold hears it, Sporting will pay 12 million euros plus bonuses, where Brighton will therefore pay the 20 million euros up front. This obviously makes Brighton the favorite for Harder's signature.

The transfer window in the Premier League closes on Friday at midnight, so a tough day can await for FC Nordsjælland's management and Harder himself.”
