Worth noting that today is Deadline Day in the big 5 European Leagues.

But other leagues like Netherlands, Belgium, Turkey, Portugal, Austria, Romania have a few more days.

Foreign sales and loans not completed today doesn't mean they won't happen. Maybe relevant for the likes of Mazilu.

Going to be a really long deadline day because I think several players might go to Belgium or the Netherlands.

Saw a short mention a few weeks ago in a Romanian paper that Mazilu could want to stay and play in the U21. Farul Constanta would absolutely take him back on loan if he/we want it though.

Do we have any connections with Blackburn? Seem to be our preferred choice for Championship loans
Just think they're shite enough to make sure our boys get a lot of play time.

Toddy having a larf - what’s new. Let’s do a Barca - £8 M for Fergie for a season loan and no right to buy

“And, of course, it’s back to Chelsea again and there are two more links as they search for a striker.

Our very own Jacob Steinberg, just as he boards his flight back to the UK from Geneva, says that as the Blues realise an alternative to Victor Osimhen may be needed, they’ve held dialogue with Brighton over Ireland striker Evan Ferguson.”

(A ‘dialogue’ that’s been going on for over a year btw)

Ferguson may well go on loan, he does not fit the current way of playing.

Aren't we supposed to be buying a kid from Denmark? Can't we loan him to Chelsea?

"We'll pay you the full £80m we were going to spend on Osimhen BUT it'll be structured as an 8 year loan with each yearly instalment of £10m paid in the form of a small hotel owned by a separate company. Some years he may also go on loan to Strasbourg if we have a new manager who doesn't fancy him."

Don't think anyone will be coming in, aside for some random kid from Melbourne Golden Dingos FC.

We can all go to bed now.

That's right, he doesn't. We're only playing players who are fit enough after injuries.
The lad has been out a long time, he'll be integrated back in stages....don't want to bugger him up again

Ivan Toney off to Al-someone-or-other in Saudi for c£40m.

What a waste.
Maybe. But put yourself in his shoes and (if he's motivated by shite loads of cash) it's a great move.

I've been critical of players going to the sand-botherer league, but that's when they are ALREADY on hundreds of thousands a week. Toney does OK, but surely not in that league. If no-one else was in for him, then why not maximise his earnings?

His betting shenanigans show that he wouldn't pass the 'no dickheads' rule, so this move is not surprising in the slightest.

He's going to last five minutes in Saudi Arabia. Its a terrible move. Hope his agent is a good one so he gets his money when he's banned from the country in October.
