Again I ask you, who are the 25? You are suggesting Sarmiento, Barco, Gilmour and Moder shouldn’t be in the 25, so who should be?

Well, last season wasn’t great…,., in fact it was terrible.
Season before was fairly normal though wasn’t it?

Edit - certainly never suggested Barco shouldn’t be, and Gilmour is a squad player who could leave for the right price.

It's one thing having to name 25 players for the official squad - but U21s don't count in that, so we could still be running a squad of, say, 35 players, all wanting game time.I really like Ayari, great balance and vision

It's the total number of players available and wanting game time that matters - the named 25 is almost a side-show.
Might be as many as 7….. source PL, don’t know when it was last updated though…

I too like Ayari but Moder has more about him as a PL player at the moment imo

One of the guys I go with has him as the dark horse this seasonBut what about Sarmiento
I like Sarmiento and I'd like to keep him, but his position in the advanced 3 behind Welbeck/Ferguson is the one we have strengthened most this window.
Discussing keeping Ayari/Moder or Sarmiento is irrelevant because they aren't completing for a spot in that front 3.
If Sarmiento is behind Pedro, Enciso, Gruda, Minteh, Mitoma, March, Georginio and Adingra, whether we keep Ayari or not has little to no impact.

I think it’s a sale, pretty sure he was against a loan and only wanted a perm move or stay and fight for his place here.
I think Enciso effectively took his role in the squad when he returned from the Olympics and got fit.
Then there is the Gruda.
