I take my mother to home games - we're both season ticket holders. She's 81 and has early on set Alzheimers, but comes alive at football games. She has a season ticket card instead of a pass on her phone for ease - for which we pay £25 per season. I called the ticket office before the game to make sure everything was OK with her card given it was a new season / first home game and they hadn't issued a new card to us. I was assured everything was fine, but having turned up at the West Stand Lower the card didn't work and the stewards would not let her through. We had to go to the ticket office where it appeared a lot of other fans were having similar issues with passes and almost missed kick off (she's not the most mobile). Poor show by the club and I'll be communicating with them directly. Did anyone else have similar issues?
