This is hilarious 😂😂😂 they keep making out these players that are “moving on” are not that important to them but we all know they are, and that if this exodus continues as it is they will happily be one of the firm relegation candidates - oh I do hope so😀😀
Nah! That would be wishful thinking on our part. They'll probably be a decent outfit this season. My best hope for their potential fall from grace is that Glasner gets peeved if he thinks he's not being supported in the transfer market and throws his toys out of the pram. Basically like De Zerbi and our post-March nosedive. That seems a reasonable hope.
I very much think this already is Glasner moulding his own team, Kamada and Riad are both his picks, his worked with both players before I think.

The proposed buys are almost definitely his picks, I personally think the money we have received for the players just gone is unbelievable good business.
Not this season. Next year, if you have a good campaign this time round and he gets all Billy Bigbollocks. You know? Like that chap we had who thought he was bigger than the owner.

Their supporters also have severe memory loss😂😂 ……..meanwhile they seem to be hitting a new low in sniffing around Raheem Sterling as their latest saviour - it just can’t get any better can it? Or is re-signing their Mr Tumble even better? 😂😂😂😂😂
Signing Raheem Sterling would be a new low for Palace?! A 29 year old with 123 Premier League goals?

I suspect it won't happen for financial reasons (we're cutting our cloth in terms of wages and Sterling is on silly money) but it's just absurd to pretend that it wouldn't be a serious statement signing for any midtable club. Sterling walks into our team, and yours, and probably about 15 other Premier League sides!

No way Sterling walks into our team. He's a busted flush, been stealing a living at Chelsea.

A truly horrendous period for Palace. One of the worst starts to a season that any of us will see in our lifetimes... and we still finished 11th!

I remember sitting in a boozer in Crawley while Mrs LLF was shopping and watching you lot lose to Burnley on a Saturday or Sunday lunchtime game during that run.
The punters were all Palace fans, they weren’t very complimentary about your owners, board , manager or players.

I , on the other hand, thoroughly enjoyed it, although I didn’t advertise the fact.

These days, Sterling is a really good footballer for about 5% of the time he spends on the pitch. For the rest of the time he’s anonymous or incompetent, and must be really infuriating for the fans.

Sterling absolutely doesn't walk into our team.

His preferred position is LW, and Mitoma is a better player than Sterling.

Then in his less preferred RW, we have Minteh, who I would also pick over him.

You could make a solid argument for Sterling not getting in our match day squad. He's not getting in ahead of Mitoma and Minteh. Adringra would be ahead of him in the pecking order too. And then you've got Gruda as well.

I think it's less about rats scurrying away and more about unfancied players being moved on.
Ayew has been a great servant to the club for a long time, but he doesn't suit Glasner's system. £5m + £3m for a player turning 33 in a few weeks is a great fee. I also think he'll do a good job for Leicester - he's not a goalscorer, but he's incredibly hard working, wins fouls & carries the ball well, etc. In short he's an extremely effective sh*thouser, and every team needs a couple of those.
Surely £5m is not that big a deal to a club that's been in the PL over 10 years worth of £100m+ per year? Especially if he would do a job for a club like Leicester that are on a higher level than yours? 😀
