First handful of games under a new coach and system are the time for experienced heads who pick up the new system quickly. But that shouldn't be as important over time.

All he can do is play that well when on the pitch and work hard in training and at some point you’ll put the manager in a position where he can’t not put you in from the start. His time will come.

There is clearly a great prospect in there. Loved that game last season he played as a libero if anyone remembers that. One to watch.

Game was screaming out for Baleba from the start, we have to start either him or Weiffer in the centre of midfield every game. Milner and Gilmour are both great players but not together

Just before the final whistle he shifted one of the United players away from the ball in a manner befitting an NFL Linebacker. How the ref didn’t give a free kick is a mystery

I reckon Carlos and Georgi Rutter are going to get on like a house on fire.

Both always smiling, both love playing up for the camera, both just seem like smashing guys, and are native French speakers. I sense a BROMANCE incoming, and I very much look forward to the club videos.
