I am finding it just slightly wild and heady that ’little ole Brighton’ has broken the Super Lig transfer record of €30m by agreeing to €35.2m (apparently). I know The Turkish league is ’relatively poor’ but still, it sends a certain message that we are a Club to be reckoned with in Europe, hold our own in the international transfer market and can attract the best players (and Managers!) outside the top 5 leagues.
