I was astonished that they picked Clark instead of Carter. This season, Clark averages 15, Carter averages 36 - looked like a no brainer to me

Yorks have too strong a team to let us off this deficit. The game is gone.
The Sussex players need to show some fight though, to show themselves they have the stomach to see promotion through. We can’t have an old school Sussex capitulation, gently giving our wickets away.
Especially not with Middlesex on our tails, and Yorks powering on.
