It was time they were brought back inline with there real worth which is all the Tories had done, now labour will inflate them all again when we are still hamstrung from COVID and the fuel crisis.
We are screwed, and Starmer is showing his true colours as predicted by every person old and wise enough to see how this power crazed goon is out of control.
If I was young enough to be having kids now, I would choose not too, as the future in Britain is currently dire, of course unless you are in the public sector lapping up the cream and biscuits.

Starmer repeatedly said pre-election he’d talk and resolve the Junior Doctor’s dispute. I’m not sure if it was a manifesto item, but even if not it was clear he wanted to resolve it and it was a significant pledge. He won with a landslide. I think this goes someway to showing what the public think.

I think the biggest thing is your sector moan groan and strike, just buckle down and get on with it like most of us do. The waste is immense too. The public sector people I know don't know how good they have it, perhaps you do something different?

Well, they haven’t yet finished voting to accept the deal yet, so I understand.
3m more votes than the opposition. That’s more than Cameron got twice, more than May, more than Thatcher in ‘79, Major ‘92. Amazing how those opposed to Labour are suddenly concerned about vote share. Teresa May had a 42% vote share but only recorded 750k more votes than Corbyn.
