Would keep him as can play in 3 of the front 4 positions and runs and presses A LOT. Great for cup games and if we have injuries and is worth much more than £6m!
£6/£7m would say to me that he's deemed nowhere near good enough, which would be disappointing.

We have so many options up front that I can only see very limited game time for him.
Adingra, Minteh, Mitoma, Joao Pedro, Welbeck, Ferguson, Rutter, Enciso. ( have I missed anyone?) for 4 forward places.

I’ve read somewhere that we are keen to loan to Championship teams where we can add in a promotion clause. Ie if the team get promoted then they pay us an additional amount. Eg £1m ( maybe Yalcoure to Leeds?)
So if we sell Sarmiento to Burnley or Sheffield United ( promotion candidates) for say £6m we include a £2m promotion add on and a large sell on %.

Can’t see that being true - Alan Nixon also isn’t the best. Even if it was true, I doubt we’d accept that figure. He’s worth £15-20m for me - and Ipswich would be all over it like a rash you’d have thought.

His father recently said they had widespread European interest if he couldn’t break into our first team. Mildly surprising if the championship is the best offer we get.

If we don't sell, we are just going to look like Chelsea with the size of the squad. Lowish fee fro Sarmiento might mean bigger sell on clause which suits us.

I feel sorry for Jeremy. He’s a class player but I’m just not sure where he is going to break into this current, insanely good squad. I’d love him to make it with us, but if I were him I’d be looking at our squad asking myself if realistically I was going to become first choice over the 17 other class players we have in his position this season. If the answer to that was no, which I’m pretty sure it is, then I’d be looking for a permanent move elsewhere. Plenty of decent clubs could do with a talent like him.
