I think the same and can see him coming on as a sub to add another to whatever we have scored (if we're not playing 4-3-3)

I agree. Barnes is a super player and one who will not be pushed out of the picture without a fight. Its one of the things that I admire most about him as a footballer. Bite and a tenacious attitude are what will make him either an exceptional back-up or a great first teamer.

He's top drawer in my book and if he doesn't start he'll fight his nuts off to succeed here!

Can't see CMS and Hoskins staying injury/suspension free all season. If Barnes gets a chance and plays well then Gus will carry on playing him.
